What counts

The market resolves to Yes if the Democratic Party wins the 2026 Iowa gubernatorial election by a margin of 9 percentage points or more. It resolves to No if the Democratic candidate loses or wins by less than 9 percentage points. Readers often mistake the linked story about Rob Sand’s past victory as the deciding factor, but only the official results of the 2026 election count.

Written from Kalshi's resolution rules by the same model that writes our headlines. The rules on Kalshi are what decides it.
