What counts

The market resolves to Yes if LSU is officially named the national champion of the 2026-27 College Football Playoff. It resolves to No if LSU loses before winning the title or if the event is cancelled or postponed past February 8, 2027. Readers often mistake the resolution source, but only official NCAA information or credible reporting consensus counts as the final word.

Written from Polymarket's resolution rules by the same model that writes our headlines. The rules on Polymarket are what decides it.
